Cloud security Consultant
Responsibilities
A day in the life of an Infoscion

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.

You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.

You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design

You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organizations financial guidelines Â·Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement and tune cloud-native security monitoring, tooling and reportingÂ·Define cloud security policies, standards, and best practicesÂ·Design cloud-based network traffic flows to drive anomaly detection capability Â·Mentor engineering and operations staff on unique cloud-based security controlsÂ·Develop tools to improve cloud specific anomaly detection requirementsÂ·Foster a culture of security by partnering with solutions architects to balance key performance and securityÂ·Perform regular reviews of cloud infrastructure for security, and cloud best practices. Â·Develop threat models to identify risks and prioritize improvements to our architecture. Â·Drive the adoption of Authentication and Authorization reference architectures for managing cloud infrastructure. Â·Educate peers on applying the latest cloud native technologies when developing new services, systems and applications.Â·Contribute to a secure/compliant cloud-native service catalogÂ·Maintain Compliance across our Production, Development and Corporate systems hosted in the public cloudsÂ·Collaborate with engineering and operations teams toward implementing controls and processes that address identified gapsÂ·Maintain and update documentation including network diagrams and security architecture plans and change control processes

Â·AWS or other Cloud CertificationsÂ·Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methodsÂ·At least 5 years implementing services on cloud infrastructure.Â·Sound knowledge of AWS with experience implementing, reviewing, and strengthening new or existing deployments specifically with technologies like IAM, Guard Duty, and WAF. Â·Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code products like Terraform and CloudFormation.Â·Deep understanding of security principles including encryption, authentication, etc.Â·Thorough understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, etc.Â·Designing secure networks, systems, and application architectureÂ·Basic encryption theory and key management (PKI)Â·Host or Network Based Intrusion Detection Tools (HIDS/NIDS)Â·Compliance AutomationÂ·Relevant security qualifications (CISSP, GSEC, AWS-SAA, AWS-SEC)
