Job Description

Position Overview
The India Region Training as a Service (TaaS) Lead will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and team development across the regions training consulting practice. This senior leadership role combines business development, operational management, and thought leadership to expand market presence and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand training consulting delivery services capabilities within the India region
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders at senior levels internal and external to the organization
  • Identify new market opportunities and create innovative service offerings
  • Lead complex proposal development and high-stakes client presentations
  • Set and achieve performance and development goals for the India Training as a Service Team
Operational Leadership
  • Direct day-to-day operations of the India TaaS Team
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects
  • Implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure consistent quality in service delivery
  • Manage budgets and financial performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives towards measurable results
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of training consultant managers
  • Create professional development paths for direct reports and overall team
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, customer service, integrity, entrepreneurship, and service excellence
  • Recruit and retain top talent that will help the practice grow
  • Provide performance management and coaching to direct reports with a leadership and management development focus
Thought Leadership
  • Establish the practice as a thought leader in the training and development space
  • Develop and share innovative approaches to learning and development
  • Create thought leadership content and publications
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices
  • Disseminate this knowledge within the TaaS Team globally and with partner solutions teams
Quality Assurance & Delivery Excellence
  • Implement and oversee QA processes to ensure team deliverables are in alignment with customer expectations
  • Develop a strong quality of delivery culture within the team
  • Establish and maintain quality standards and ensure the team is educated on the QA process
Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 18+ years of experience in training consulting services (managed learning services preferred)
  • 10+ years in senior leadership roles of similar responsibilities
  • Proven track record of growing revenue and managing P&L
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ training professionals at a middle to front line management level
  • Deep expertise in Training and Development methodologies, including ADDIE, SAM, and agile / rapid training development approaches and tools for enterprise systems training
Education
  • Masters degree in Instructional Design, Talent Development, Instructional Technology, Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred
