Solution Architect 4

• As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators and customers and partners to develop technical account plan/strategy and drive sales engagements to technical closure
• As a key member of the tech sales team, you will ensure success by capturing customer use cases and designing complex technical solutions on top of Informatica Data Management Cloud
• You will educate customers and internal stakeholders on the Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and consumption in the cloud
• Within our technical sales community you will be an active, constant learner with a growth mindset
• You will mentor others on the team and contributing to the development of shared selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials
• To ensure sustained revenue growth you will contribute to pipeline generation by delivering technical workshops, being active in social media promotions, developing content for external circulation, and participating in industry marketing events
• This role is based in India and reports to the Technical Sales Manager

• Intermediate certification on at least 1 Cloud Ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and 1 data related cloud technology at the level defined by the business
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud computing security aspects
• Expert level skills for Informatica services and product capabilities
• Ability to engage VP, Director customer personas
• Credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical customer personas
• Expert storytelling and presentation skills across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases
• Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create and execute on a strategic technical account plan as defined by the business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage customer engagements independently
• Responsible for sharing best practices and content on competition and other ecosystem vendors
• Stay current on certification of services related to area of focus
• Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a Customer Specific Demo with no assistance including discovery, technical qualification, customer presentations, standard demo and any related customer-facing communication
• Conduct technical workshops with customers with no assistance
• Lead on RFP responses and POCs related for area of focus
• Partner with the CSM team to nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc
• Ability to support demos at marketing events independently
• Customize, create, and present customer demos with minimal assistance
• Present existing EBC content either at Informatica or onsite with customers

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, MDM, or Data Governance
• 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
