Senior Software Engineer - Back End

Were looking for a backend Senior Software Engineer candidate with experience of Java, Spring, Kubernetes and database systems, to join our Master Data Management SaaS team in Bangalore.

Your Role ResponsibilitiesHeres What Youll Do

• Develop new code that are enterprise-use case-ready.
• You will develop services for different Informatica products.
• Write high-quality code using your in-depth knowledge of Java, object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Collaborate with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
• Handling customer escalations that are routed to RD from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks )
• Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
• Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
• Be a performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace
• Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations
• Work with cross-geographical RD engineering
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members
• Use in determining the cause of problems, and demonstrate responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems).

Role Essentials

• 4+ years of experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms design patterns
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and multithreaded programming
• Development experience using Java

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and their managed services
• Experience working with Microservices
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongDB
