We are looking for an analytical and enthusiastic Senior Data Analyst with a focus on delivering data-driven insights and reporting excellence. This person will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, performance, and scalability of our dashboards, SQL queries, and reporting tools. By collaborating across teams and leveraging advanced analytics, they will help drive decision-making, optimize reporting processes, and contribute to Infor s data strategy and business objectives.
You will join the international Infor User Analytics team which is spread out in India, Sri Lanka, Sweden and the United States, thus giving you the opportunity to collaborate with Infor employees worldwide. A Day in Life Typically Includes:
As our Senior Data Analyst your responsibilities will include:
Scope, design, and build advanced dashboards in tools like QuickSight, to provide actionable insights and monitor key business metrics.
Create efficient, high-performance queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from large datasets.
Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Perform data validation and cleansing to ensure consistent, high-quality reporting outputs.
Analyze complex datasets to uncover meaningful trends that align with business objectives and support decision-making.
Recommend and implement improvements in reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Provide guidance, share best practices, and support skill development for junior team members.
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Redshift, and QuickSight or similar BI tools.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven track record in scoping, designing, and creating reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and other data-driven insights.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing reporting solutions for scalability.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design principles.
Strong experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working within the SDLC, Agile environments, or other iterative development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in analyzing big data environments, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling or statistical analysis.
Exposure to tools for data integration or automation, such as Python, R, or Alteryx.
Understanding of business processes and metrics across domains (e. g. , finance, sales, or operations).
Experience with ticket tracking and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
