Roles and responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and design Tagetik solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
• Configure Tagetik applications and modules according to best practices, client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage day-to-day operational processes associated with the application to ensure a stable reporting environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert and key support for all Tagetik users, fulfilling the role of Business App owner (Admin role).
• Review financial data in Tagetik for quality assurance, addressing any unusual items or invalid data flows.
• Provide support for internal and external audit requirements and queries.
• Manage user roles, including creation, changes, assignments, and password resets.
• Set up and support period end financial closing, including period opening, consolidation, business unit setup, cash flow rules, and FX rates updates.
• Handle RFC closing setup, including setting up restated scenarios, cloning processes, defining cycles, and copying consolidation areas.
• Configure budget setup, phasing, and multi-year planning scenarios.
• Create and modify reports, including ad-hoc reporting needs for end users.
• Provide expert advice on Tagetik functionality, features, and best practices.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to empower client end-users.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Tagetik applications.

Expected experience, skill sets and abilities

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Tagetik solutions, integrated with SAP environments (including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Salesforce).
• Experience with the SaaS (shared cloud) version of Tagetik is an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting to Reporting Process, and external audit compliance.
• Experience in external reporting under GAAP and IFRS reporting is a plus.
• Proficiency in integration with Snowflake, QlikSense, or Power BI for custom reporting.
• Solid understanding of overall solution and account structures.
• Application maintenance and IT support experience with a good understanding of service and change management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Ability to effectively engage with business and IT teams, especially working closely with finance accountants and collaborating with internal and external auditors.
• Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation, and business-partnering skills.
• The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
• A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.

Ideally, you ll also have:

• Tagetik certification.
• Experience working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
• Working experience with European clients.
• Willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
• Willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
