Job Description
- To focus on business & digital transformation and manage the Data Architecture and solutions that deliver the platform, with operational support and troubleshooting
- To Support solution architecture and engineering for data ingestion and modelling challenges.
- To support the deduplication of enterprise data tools, working with the Data Governance Board, Digital Council and IT.
- To advise and collaborate with business and IT to solve data challenges in an agile fashion. This is to be achieved with consultancy, Proof of Concepts, Pilots and Projects.
- To help with data governance and data catalogue engineering work.
- Data Architecture, engineering, modelling, and management.
Expected experience, skill sets and abilities
- Certifications (Data Management, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).
- Good understanding of integration, ETL, API and data-sharing concepts.
- Good understanding of visualization tools like Power BI.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as CFR 21 part 11, EU General Data Protection Regulation, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Proficiency in using Cloud Services (Azure) for data engineering such as ADF, ADLS, Azure Synapse, PBI, storage and analytics. Strong SQL and NoSQL experience Data Modelling.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, data virtualization and analytics.
- Experience in working with data analysts, data scientists and BI teams to deliver data requirements.
- The ability to work within a team environment, with a proven track record of working hands-on with teams on functional and technical aspects on the SAP platform.
- Active participation in process assessments to measure effectiveness.
- An analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving mindset. The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment in a highly collaborative way at all levels of the organization.
- The ability to map business requirements and provide solutions, along with configurations.
- Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation and business-partnering skills.
- The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritise tasks.
- A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.
Ideally, you ll also have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Information, System Engineering, or a related technical field. 5-7 years experience with data and analytics projects.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and managing data infrastructures.
- Project Management skills.
- Ability to motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- The experience of working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
- Working experience with European clients.
- The willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
- The willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
