Job Description
- To improve the mapping of tools & data used in FIS for main Engineering processes
- To support and Lead some specific project related to Data Architecture ( eg : Eng. Database)
- To define and implement the data management approach that will ensure: The knowledge of engineering data
- The control of their quality
- Their usability by the business
- To transform our current architecture to the best-in-class Big Data ecosystem with GIS & DSF
- To exchange data through API Gateway, Data Bus, and so on to enable data continuity between main systems (TIGER, PALM, Eng App Center etc )
- To align data models and architectural work to business objectives
- To build relevant Engineering Data architecture
- To participate to data catalog and ontology with Data governance teams
- To facilitate and enable the creation of Engineering ontology
- To expose data to potential business owner, and data users
- To participate to data mining & AI projects
- To contribute to the evolution of the data usage practice by:
- Leading a thematic community
- Providing training.
Qualification: The ideal candidate will have/be :
- Master Degree in IT
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role, if possible, in an industrial company
- Worked previously on ontology projects Familiar with Big Data thinking & tools (ETL, Palantir)
- International mind set
- Leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to listen actively our business partners
- Ability to work in a team within a matrixed organization
- A quick and versatile learner, Autonomous and self-motivated
- Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
