YOU WILL

Take the lead in expansion activities, including planning and executing strategies and processes for the growth of the Groups jewellery business

• Set performance goals for the jewellery chain
• Establish policies that promote the company’s culture and vision
• Oversee the everyday operations of the company and the work of its staff across all departments (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
• Lead employees by example and motivate them towards optimum performance and also evaluate their performance through measurable data and statistical analysis
• Maintain relations with partners and vendors
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and consultants
• Coordinate with architects and oversee the construction (and, later, management) of real estate and five-star hotel projects
• Oversee the recruitment of people who are suitable for, and have experience in the jewellery retail sector
• Earn best-in-industry salary package

YOU MUST BE

An excellent communicator (fluent in Odia as well as English) with great interpersonal and public speaking skills

• A people’s person who is both respectful and respectable
• Knowledgeable of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
• Able to demonstrate competency in strategic planning and business development
• Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure, MS Office data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Able to demonstrate your hands-on experience in fundraising ventures, strategic planning and business development
• Have a problem-solving mindset with outstanding decision-making capabilities
• An outside-of-the-box thinker, a visionary and an energetic team player who thrives in a competitive environment with a can-do attitude and who also takes ownership of his work
• Academically well-qualified (with a Master’s, or at least a Bachelor’s, degree in Business Administration or a related field) with relevant experience (of at least 10 years) in the jewellery industry for your elevated position in the Group
• Based in, or ready to move to, Bhubaneswar where the company is headquartered
• Ready and fit to tour state-wide and travel nationally extensively
