Position: Senior Analytics Developer (Power BI)

Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer with 7+  years of experience to join our team. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and transform complex data into meaningful insights.
 

Location:  Nagpur/Pune 

Key Result Areas and Activities:

• Power BI Development with Advanced Analytics: Design and develop advanced Power BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards. Utilize advanced analytics features like DAX calculations, statistical modeling, and machine learning integration. Implement Row Level Security & User Access. Co-pilot with PowerBI
• Data Modelling and Integration: Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts for data modeling. Integrate data from various sources to ensure clean and accurate data for analysis.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document data models, report specifications, and development processes. Create user guides and training materials for self-service analytics.
• Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues or bugs during testing or production.
• User Interface Design and Data Presentation: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Extract and present valuable insights from complex data sets in a clear and actionable manner.

Essential Skills:

• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them to business requirements, design scalable and reliable solutions
• Experience in complex DAX and Power Query
• Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries is must
• Experience in deployment & integration which includes setting up configuration management, developing components, peer reviews
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex dashboards, reports, and scorecards
• Exposure on performance optimization and scalability of Power BI solutions and in creating data models within PowerBI

Desirable Skills:

• Pharmaceutical experience – Commercial Operations
• MicroStrategy/Tableau to Power BI migration experience
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, auditing, and administration
• Knowledge of incorporating data privacy and security solutions in the implementation

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• PowerBI Certification
• Agile – SCRUM, JIRA
