We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our team at Info Edge India Ltd. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our team of talented developers to create innovative and user-friendly mobile applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources and API's
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
