Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Portfolio Finance Manager to join our team. This role is integral in bridging the gap between fund management and the portfolio companies, ensuring financial discipline, operational efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with founders, offering financial guidance, risk management, and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Monitoring and Support:

- Track the financial performance of portfolio companies.

- Collaborate with founders on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Assist in cost optimization and ensure efficient use of resources.

Risk Management:

- Identify risks related to compliance, business operations, and financial health.

- Ensure timely audits and adherence to financial and operational standards.

Finance Business Partnering:

- Act as a liaison between fund management and founders of portfolio companies.

- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to drive sustainable growth.

Compliance and Governance:

- Oversee the implementation of robust processes within portfolio companies.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Engage with internal and senior stakeholders to address challenges and implement solutions.

- Build strong relationships with founders and the broader ecosystem.

Qualifications:

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance processes.
