Lead SDET - Automation (Java and Selenium)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead with in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Java, JavaScript, and Selenium, along with experience in building and managing automation frameworks. The candidate will also be responsible for leading automation testing efforts across multiple platforms and ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous integration and deployment.

• Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, and automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, BDD-Cucumber).
• Manage test automation efforts using Azure DevOps, Jenkins CI/CD, and Dockers.
• Database Experience: Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience in API/Service layer testing using POSTMAN.
• Develop Non-UI/API scripts using Java and libraries like Rest Assured or similar Java libraries.
• Develop mobile automation scripts using Appium for iOS and Android devices.
• Knowledge of mobile cloud platforms such as Cloudy or BrowserStack.
• Build highly scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Manage automation testing resources: Recruit, train, allocate, and monitor team members.
• Develop plans to introduce new automation technologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate with team members to gather feedback on the implementation of new automation tools.
• Create detailed plans for automating processes within projects.
• Analyze test results and metrics to improve testing practices.
• Prepare, review, and present test reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Development Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest level of software quality.
• Create Automation test plans and strategies for various testing scenarios.
• Conduct feasibility studies on automation technologies to find opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies during testing, especially when handling sensitive user data.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to ensure the application meets the highest standards of user satisfaction.
