Data Analyst (BI + SQL)- Retail

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data extraction, exploration, analysis, and insights generation for business decision-making. Additionally, a basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts such as Regression and Classification would be a plus for future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to drive business insights.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting.

Interpret data patterns and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Identify key trends, anomalies, and performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across different reports.

Collaborate on Machine Learning projects involving Regression and Classification (preferred).

Present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in Power BI ability to create dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modeling.

Strong SQL skills experience in writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.

Experience in data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Ability to summarize actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful conclusions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

Basic understanding of Machine Learning (Regression, Classification) for future projects.

Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for data storage and processing.
