UI/UX Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Professional (contract basis) with experience in designing software applications for the industry 4.0 domain. The ideal candidate will create user-centric designs, intuitive interfaces, and data visualizations to enhance usability for industrial users. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct usability testing, and drive innovation by incorporating advanced features like AI. Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and create personas, journey maps, and workflows for Industry 4.0 applications.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for platforms like APM, IIoT, and predictive maintenance tools.
• Design effective visualizations for large datasets, including charts, heatmaps, and dashboards for asset monitoring, predictive analytics, and real-time alerts.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that align with the needs of Industry 4.0 users and support decision-making workflows
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure data representation is accurate, meaningful, and actionable for industrial users.
• Focus on providing clear insights and simplifying complex industrial data for CXOs and operators alike
• Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure design consistency across the platform
• Conduct usability testing, iterate designs based on feedback, and maintain design consistency.
• Prioritize usability for multi-device experiences, ensuring mobile responsiveness for tablets and handheld devices commonly used on shop floors
• Develop and maintain a design library or system to ensure consistency across all applications
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Innovate with AI-driven features and advanced interaction techniques.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in UI/UX design for Industry 4.0 applications like APM, IIoT platforms, or digital twins.
• Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI) and frameworks.
• Familiarity with industrial workflows and standards
• Experience working in agile product development cycles.
• Ability to design for both cloud and edge-based systems.
