Job Description
Should have a total of 8+ Years in QA/Testing and should have lead a team for 3+ years
Core Responsibilities
- Lead a team of highly motivated and talented QA engineers.
- Manage the team s work output, track status, resolve issues, and report progress.
- Define test strategy, test plans, and detailed test cases for projects.
- Review requirements, change requests and defects to identify dependencies, ambiguities and make recommendations.
- Set up the testing environment for product and Services software testing.
- Plan testing activities and adhere to release timelines for assigned projects.
- Provide test estimates, testing and defect metrics during project planning and execution.
- Develop and execute functional and regression tests across various devices.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies to continuously improve processes and practices.
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in software testing of desktop, web and cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Strong Proficiency in testing skills
* DB services on MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Web services like ServiceNow ITSM , Salesforce CRM or similar
* API services like Postman , Soap UI , Insomnia
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as
* ServiceNow ATF via JavaScript
* Selenium or Playwright via Java .
* Rest Assured via Java
- Must Knowledge on GitHub
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e. g. , Google Cloud, Splunk Cloud, AWS, Azure) with hands-on experience in compute, storage, networking, security, and data analytics.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to understand customer use cases and prioritize test cases accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills
- ISTQB certification or equivalent testing credentials are highly desirable.
- Understanding of Performance Testing and the tools such as JMeter is desired.
