Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer specializing in Windchill to join our team

  • The successful candidate will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain customizations, integrations utilizing Windchill
  • The Java developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions

    Job Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Windchill applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain Windchill customizations, including Java-based applications, workflows, and scripts
  • Integrate Windchill with other systems, such as SAP and CRM systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill-related issues, including performance, data integrity, and security
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill customizations and integrations
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans and scripts
  • Stay up-to-date with new Windchill releases, features, and best practices

  • Your Profile

  • You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Windchill development, with a strong understanding of Windchill architecture, data model, and APIs
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with Windchill customization, including workflows, scripts, and custom applications
  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, data modeling, and data governance
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (eg, Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
