Position: Assistant Manager / Manager - Techno-Commercial

Reports To: Manager / Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced candidates for Techno-Commercial role for our Consumer Genomics, Predictive Genetics, and Pharmacogenomics offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in genetics and genomics/life science or related field, combined with robust commercial acumen. This role involves driving business growth, managing client relationships, and supporting the development and implementation of innovative genomic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize deep knowledge of consumer genomics, predictive genetics, and pharmacogenomics to support the development and commercialization of genetic testing products and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and trends in genomics and personalized medicine.

2. Commercial Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and analyze market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.

4. Product Development and Management:

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
  • Contribute to product R&D and product development related validation for quality product delivery ensuring adherence to TAT.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform continuous improvement.

5. Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, sales presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Train sales and marketing teams on the technical aspects of genomics products and services.

6. Regulatory and Compliance:

  • Ensure all products and services comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters or PhD degree in Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, life science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a techno-commercial role within the genomics or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of consumer genomics, predictive genetics, and pharmacogenomics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the genomics field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with genetic data analysis and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases.
  • Project management experience.
