- Technical Evaluation:Evaluate technical specifications and features of products or services
- Understand the manufacturing process and technical capabilities
- Collaborate with technical teams to stay updated on product advancements and innovations
- Market Analysis:Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings
- Conduct market surveys and gather data on customer preferences
- Analyze market demand and identify potential opportunities for business development
- Sales and Marketing:Develop sales strategies based on technical strengths and market demand
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective promotional materials
- Provide technical support to the sales team during client interactions
- Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry influencers
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions tailored to their needs
- Address customer queries and concerns regarding technical aspects of products or services
- Cost Analysis and Pricing:Analyze production costs and propose cost-effective solutions
- Determine pricing strategies based on production costs, market demand, and competitor pricing
- Monitor pricing trends in the industry and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, sales, and marketing
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance the companys visibility
- Documentation and Reporting:Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external use
- Maintain records of technical specifications, market research findings, and sales data
- Provide regular reports to management on market trends, sales performance, and future projections
- Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- A Masters degree is a plus
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of relevant industry products or services
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret technical data and convey it in a simple and understandable manner
- Proficiency in market research and analysis
- Sales and negotiation skills to effectively promote technical solutions
- Project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis and presentations
