Responsibilities:
Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
- Proactively research and identify upcoming government tenders aligned with our company's capabilities.
- Analyze tender documents and assess feasibility for successful bidding.
- Develop a deep understanding of government procurement policies and regulations.
Proposal Development & Management:
- Lead the development of compelling and compliant tender proposals, ensuring adherence to all technical and commercial specifications.
- Manage and collaborate with internal teams (engineering, technical, legal) to ensure timely and accurate proposal completion.
- Develop compelling cost estimates and pricing strategies to maximize our competitiveness.
Tender Process Management:
- Oversee the entire tendering process, ensuring all deadlines and submission requirements are met.
- Liaise effectively with government officials and clarify any tender queries.
- Manage communication and build relationships with key decision-makers.
Contract Negotiation & Award:
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure the most favorable outcome for our company.
- Ensure contract compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with internal legal and procurement teams to finalize and award contracts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in tender management for government projects.
- Proven track record of successfully winning government tenders.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of tender evaluation criteria and technical writing skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience using tendering software platforms (e. , MSTC, GEM) is a plus
