Maintenance Head _ Module Manufacturing _ Integrated PV Manufacturing

Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for all aspects to lead the maintenance of Module plant, which will be part of the Integrated PV Plant. He needs to coordinate with Licensor/ supplier/ Consultant/ Engineering team / Equipment Vendor / Raw materials vendor and lead the complete maintenance for timely completion of the projects, installation and commissioning. Subsequent to Projects completion, the incumbent will assume the position as Maintenance Head for Module manufacturing plant.

Job Description

• To lead all Maintenance activities for module manufacturing at INDOSOL with a focus on cost reduction and optimization utilization of Machines.
• Managing the entire module manufacturing equipment’s (Automation, stringer, bussing, laminator, curing, JB, Framing and flasher) along with Module utilities (HVAC, Electrical, CDA, PCW, Chillers, etc) for high volume module manufacturing lines for running the operations 24*7*365 days.
• Leading a large size team of technical resources including engineers for smooth functioning of maintenance activities in all shifts for 365 days of operation.
• Planning and monitoring breakdown, preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of Plant & utility Equipment.
• Reviewing and following through the maintenance Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) targets.
• Adhering to strict EHS policies (PTW, LOTO, etc)
• Experience in handling manpower, shop floor management, Kaizen, Kanban, DMAIC methodologies, lean manufacturing, optimized raw materials usage with cost efficient methodologies, Spare management, structured way of productivity improvement through training will be part of your KPI/KRA
• Enhancing life cycle of equipment by analysis of critical spare parts and replacing/ refurbishing high-cost spare parts, Indigenization of spares locally, drafting equipment obsolesce study and proposing up-gradation & replenishment plans within suitable budget to the management.

Desired Profile

Candidate should have 15 years’ experience in managing maintenance activities in Module manufacturing in Solar Industry.
