Junior Reporter

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Reporter at India Television Group in Goregaon, Mumbai. The Junior Reporter will be responsible for writing business news articles, conducting interviews, and reporting on relevant topics in one of the following segments on a day-to-day basis.

• Media Business, Advertising and PR, Media Technology
• Animation, Gaming, VFX, Anime Industry
• Radio and Music Industry

Key Responsibilities

• News Research & Writing - Conduct in-depth research and write news articles, reports, and features on topics related to media, laws, regulations, and satellite technology.
• Copy Editing & Proofreading - Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and clarity, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency in all published materials.
• Content Development - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, current events, and emerging topics within the media and satellite sectors to generate relevant story ideas.
• Source Verification - Gather information from credible sources, verify facts, and maintain journalistic integrity in all content.

Preferred Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
• News Writing and Journalism skills
• Excellent Writing ability
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Freshers can apply. However, 1-2 years of relevant experience in related field is preferable.
