Junior Research Analyst - Commodities

We are looking for a Junior Research Analyst to join our Commodities Research team. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing commodity markets, tracking global economic trends, and providing research-based insights on commodities such as gold, silver, crude oil, and agricultural products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in financial markets and commodities, who can contribute to making informed decisions and recommendations for the companys advisory services.

Role & responsibilities

• Study and analyze commodity charts to identify market trends and patterns.
• Support senior analysts in generating trading calls, creating research reports, market updates, and trade recommendations.
• Keep track of market trends, find trading opportunities, and share updates with the team.
• Work with the team to develop trading strategies using technical indicators.
• Learn and stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in technical analysis.
• Review historical data and test trading strategies to see how well they work.
• Maintain records of trade recommendations and ensure compliance with SEBI guidelines.
• Manage past performance reports and rationals of trade recommendations given.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Technical Analysis and Price Action.
• Familiarity with technical tools, indicators, and oscillators.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Comfortable with numbers and quick at calculations.
• A team player who can collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to research.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and improve continuously.
• Experience with commodity market analysis or research is highly preferred.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply; prior experience in commodity market research is an added advantage.
