Position: Junior Executive/Executive Social Media - Bachelor s Degree in Social Media / Mass Communication / Journalism or any related field.
- A Post-graduate degree with specialization in Social Media / Communication / Journalism / Marketing / Branding or an Advanced diploma/certification in Digital Marketing or similar fields will be preferred.
Desired Qualification:
- Certification in Graphic designing / Photography / Videography etc. will be desired.
- Certification / hands-on knowledge of tools related to Adobe Creative Suite / Corel / Illustrator / Photoshop /Canva/ Filmora etc. will be an added advantage.

- Minimum Three Years of Experience in handling communication, media, marketing, branding, and social media platforms for Public / Private Sector undertakings.
- Experience at IIMs/IITs/NITs or any other premiere Institution is desirable.
- Quick learners from varied domains who are passionate about administrative fields and are ready to learn and adapt to the new ecosystem are also encouraged to apply.
Job Profile:
Duties and responsibilities of the appointed person will include but are not limited to the following:
- Efficiently planning Social media campaigns with impeccable execution to achieve mass connections as well as the goals of the Institution.
- Analyze the long-term needs of the Institute s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the Social media/digital marketing plan.
- Proficiency in the English language to create gripping content, and present it in an impressive way as per the need of the particular social media platform, keeping a constant tab on public feedback.
- Collaborating with Videographers / Multimedia / Graphic Designers to ensure that posts are engaging.
- Optimizing content for publication & boosting across various social media sites.
- Scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
- Monitoring users engagement with feedback on every post.
- Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the concerned authorities.
- Handle the Institute s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.
- Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the senior officials as per the functional requirements of the Institute.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way.
- Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
- In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements, SEO, practical knowledge of creatives, engagement metrics, publicity metrics, and social media posting, tracking, analyzing and reporting.
Salary & Allowances:
The selected candidate will be offered a fixed-term appointment for Two years on IIM Nagpur contract on a consolidated monthly salary based on the 7th CPC matrix, commensurate with qualification and experience. The contract may be extended further based on performance / satisfactory discharge of duties and the Institute s requirements.
