VP - Network & Communication

Role & responsibilities

1) Must have engaged in solutioning, designing, OEM finalization and implementation of Software Defined Network (SDN) and SD-WAN
2) Experience in vendor technical competency evaluation and recommend to Management
3) Well versed with new age technologies and trends to integrate with existing systems
4) Experience with telecommunication industry best practices on Network architecture and product/service design and implementation strategies.
5) Vendor escalation Management and drive to accomplish the tasks to acheive the goal of the organization
6) Budgetting and AOP planning and execution
7) SLA Management and its sign-off for billing purpose.
8) Must have handled a team size of minimum 20 members.

Education:

B.E/ B.Tech, M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT)/B.Sc (Computers/IT)

Experience:

1) 18 plus years of experience in IT with core competency in Network & Security with 16 plus years of working experience on handling large complex Enterprise Network - Mandatory
2) Experience of leading overall infrastructure of a mid size or bigger organization Network Communication. - Mandatory
3) Technical proficiency in Software Defined Network (SDN) and SD-WAN - Mandatory
4) Minimum 10 years Experience in people management. - Mandatory
5) Significant hands-on experience with IT operation processes and procedures. - Mandatory
6) Experience with telecommunication industry best practices on network architecture, systems architecture, as well as product/service design and implementation strategies. - Mandatory
7) Vendor escalation Management and drive to accomplish the tasks to acheive the goal of the organization - Mandatory
8) Experience in hadling large Projects deployment right from initiation, planning and execution.
9) Budgetting and AOP planning and execution - Mandatory
10) SLA Management and its sign-off for billing purpose.
11) Process orientation for entire procurement cycle for Network projects - Highly Desirable
12) Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations with redundant network architecture. - Desirable

Certifications:

1) CCNP - Mandatory
2) ITIL - Mandatory
3) PMP - Desireable

Knowledge:

1) Expert knowledge in Networking, data communications and Systems Engineering. - Mandatory
2) Knowledge in Technical Bid evaluation and processing - Mandatory
3) Knowledge on Network devices of various OEMs such as; Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel..etc - Mandatory
4) Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Mandatory
5) Knowledge in VC Managements and its protocols - Desireable
6) Working knowledge on Fiber and its active components such as MUX, Transponders, LIU, OTDR..etc - Mandatory
7) Project Management & experience in handling Trunkey Network related projects- Mandatory
