General Manager - Quality Assurance - Home Textile Division (12-15 yrs)

Qualification & Experience.

- We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Quality Assurance for our Home Textile Division.

- The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in quality assurance within the home textiles industry and a proven track record in reducing defects, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic leader who can implement and maintain high-quality standards across fabric manufacturing, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the entire quality assurance function for the home textile division.

- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure compliance with international standards.

- Conduct supplier audits, factory evaluations, and compliance checks to maintain quality consistency.

- Collaborate with design, production, and sourcing teams to improve product quality.

- Train and mentor quality control teams on best practices and modern methodologies.

- Implement and manage digital quality monitoring tools and ERP systems in textiles.

- Ensure adherence to international quality certifications such as Oekotex 100-Class 1, GOTS, GRS, OCS, and BCI.

- Maintain social compliance standards as required by global buyers such as Target, Next, ROSS, Macy's, and Walmart.

- Analyze data and reports to identify areas for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

- Work closely with the sustainability team to align quality control processes with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- 10-15 years of experience in quality assurance within the home textiles industry.

- Deep knowledge of fabric manufacturing, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.

- Strong understanding of home textile product categories such as bedding, towels, and upholstery.

- Expertise in international quality standards and certifications.

- Experience in modern testing methodologies (physical, chemical, and performance testing).

- Ability to use digital quality monitoring tools and ERP systems effectively.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and international buyers.
