Billing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project bills, ensuring cost control, verifying contractor claims, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project cost estimation, and billing workflows in real estate projects.

1) Billing and Reconciliation

• Prepare DPR (Detailed Project Report), BOQ (Bill of Quantities) items, critical items, and revenue summaries (to date/monthly).
• Reconcile billing with estimated quantities fortnightly and analyze construction materials.
• Prepare and submit client bills as per BOQ and handle subcontractor billing with proper debit notes, if applicable.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of materials and contractor bills.

2) Budgeting and Projections

• Review budgets and prepare quarterly projections aligned with SOPs.
• Monitor daily costs of major items and ensure updates on Work in Progress (WIP), RA (Running Account) bills, and PV (Price Variation) bills.

3) Reporting and Monitoring

• Generate material reconciliation reports and weekly resource status reports for material, P&M (Plant & Machinery), and manpower.
• Prepare daily labor progress reports and oversee the progress of site activities.

4) Site and Safety Management

• Maintain quality, safety, and accuracy on-site, ensuring vendor bills and client coordination.
• Take necessary measurements on-site for billing and cross-verify with contractors and site engineers.

5) Coordination

• Collaborate with billing personnel for timely RA bill submissions.
• Coordinate with contractors and site engineers for joint site measurement verification.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and billing standards.
