Job Description:
- Operational Processes Development: Design, implement, and oversee operational processes to support the smooth functioning of the consortium, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial transparency and compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
- Hiring and Onboarding: Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and overseeing onboarding of new team members.
- Invoicing and Payments: Oversee invoicing, payment processes, and expense tracking to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Contracts Management: Handle backend operations for contracts, including drafting, negotiation, compliance monitoring, and renewals.
- Reporting: Compile and prepare reports for donors, stakeholders, and internal reviews, highlighting progress, challenges, and financial status.
- Travel Coordination: Manage travel arrangements for consortium members, including bookings, itineraries, and reimbursement processes.
- Human Resources Management: Develop and implement HR policies, oversee performance reviews, and manage processes for raises, promotions, and staff development.
- Process and Policy Creation: Establish and document organizational processes and policies to streamline operational efficiency and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for consortium members, partners, and external stakeholders for operational queries and updates.
Qualification and Experience:
- Formal qualification in agriculture, social work, human resources or management would be preferred.
- 2-4 years of work experience with similar responsibilities.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and relationship management.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative.
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing groups, projects or organisations.
- Strong event planning, travel, administration and organisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
