Job Description: Training & PMS Manager-kannada Mandatory
Department: Human Resources
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Head - Human Resources
Role Overview:
The Training & PMS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs and the performance management system to enhance employee productivity, skills, and career growth. This role ensures that training aligns with business objectives and fosters a high-performance culture in the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
- Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) in collaboration with department heads.
- Develop annual training plans aligned with business and employee growth objectives.
- Design and deliver technical, behavioral, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Identify and onboard external training partners as required.
- Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance improvement metrics.
- Maintain training records, dashboards, and compliance reports.
Performance Management System (PMS):
- Drive the end-to-end PMS cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and competency-based evaluations for manufacturing roles.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment between business objectives and individual performance goals.
- Analyze PMS data to identify trends and suggest performance improvement strategies.
- Provide training to managers and employees on goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance discussions.
- Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high-potential employees and succession planning.
Employee Engagement & Development:
- Work closely with leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
- Organize leadership development, mentoring, and coaching programs.
- Drive initiatives related to rewards & recognition and employee career progression.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all training and PMS processes comply with labor laws and industry standards.
- Prepare reports on training effectiveness, performance trends, and key HR metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Training & Performance Management, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of learning & development frameworks, PMS methodologies, and HR analytics.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRMS tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
