Senior Finance Executive

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting and financial operations for our 200-person IT services company. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with extensive experience in handling core accounting functions, financial transactions, and compliance activities in a mid-sized organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

a. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with

applicable standards.

b. Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and

closing processes.

c. Invoicing & Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

d. Prepare and issue client invoices on time.

e. Monitor AR, follow up on overdue accounts, and manage credit control processes.

2. Payroll Administration

a. Process monthly payroll, including salary disbursements, statutory deductions, and

compliance with labor laws.

b. Address payroll-related queries and ensure confidentiality.

3. Expense Management & Accounts Payable (AP)

a. Review, verify, and process employee expense claims.

b. Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely reconciliation of AP.

4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

a. Handle all direct and indirect tax filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns.

b. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for assessments and

audits.

5. Compliance & Reporting

a. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and statutory

requirements.

b. Prepare periodic financial reports and management information to assist decision-

making.

Qualifications and Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) with a of 58 years of post-qualification experience in managing end-to-

end finance operations.

Demonstrated expertise in:

• Invoicing and AR/AP management.
• Payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Expense and cash flow management.

Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and proficiency in MS

Excel.

Familiarity with Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory requirements.
