Finacle Application Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finacle Infrastructure SME to manage and support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of multiple Finacle environments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of Finacle applications, troubleshooting, patch management, and optimizing system performance across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Environment Management:
  
• Manage and maintain multiple Finacle environments across different stages such as Development (Dev), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure optimal performance, stability, and security of these environments.
• Finacle Installation & Configuration:
  
• Set up new instances of Finacle, ensuring seamless integration with surrounding systems (e.g., core banking systems, third-party services).
• Ensure proper configuration and deployment of Finacle applications, including necessary back-end services and front-end modules.
• Patch Management:
  
• Take ownership of maintaining the integrity of sources and patches across various environments.
• Regularly perform patching activities, ensuring that the application is up-to-date and stable across environments.
• Application & Server Management:
  
• Configure and optimize Finacle servers to support performance, scalability, and high availability.
• Conduct regular optimizations for system performance, including application tuning, load balancing, and resource management.
• Customization & Scripting:
  
• Provide expertise in customizing Finacle applications using scripting languages, JSPs, APIs, and other Finacle-specific customization techniques.
• Write and manage Shell scripts and Oracle PL/SQL queries for automation, data management, and process improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure Finacle deployments meet business requirements.
• Provide expertise and guidance to teams in resolving issues related to Finacle infrastructure and application performance.
• Finacle Architecture:
  
• Understand and manage the architecture of Finacle across its three tiers (frontend, application, and backend).
• Ensure all components are properly integrated and optimized for performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Finacle Expertise:
  
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end Finacle 10x Application Installation from scratch.
• Experience with Finacle server setup, application configuration, deployment, and ongoing system optimization.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Strong knowledge of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Oracle, JBoss, CICD pipelines, GIT, Autosys, and other technologies related to Finacle.
• Solid understanding of Finacle architecture, including backend and frontend services.
• Scripting & Database Knowledge:
  
• Proficient in Shell Scripting and Oracle PL/SQL for automation, database management, and application-level customizations.
• Customization Knowledge:
  
• Familiarity with Finacle scripting, JSPs, APIs, and other customization options available within the Finacle platform.
• Experience with Finacle Modules:
  
• Working knowledge of Finacle 10.x version for various modules including Core Banking, CRM, FAS Alerts, Fininfra, FI, and others.
