Tosca Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Test Architect with expertise in Tosca to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation,

particularly with Tosca, and hold certifications in AS1, AS2, AE1, TDS1, TDS2, and TA1. The

Test Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing test

strategies and frameworks that align with our project goals and ensure the highest quality

of software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Strategy & Framework Design:

• Develop, implement, and maintain test automation strategies and frameworks using Tosca.
• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and reusable test automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of test strategies with business goals.

2. Automation Implementation:

• Leverage Tosca for automating complex test scenarios across various layers of the application stack.
• Ensure efficient use of Tosca features, including Model-Based Test Automation (MBTA).
• Establish best practices and standards for Tosca automation across the team.

3. Test Management:

• Drive the test management process, including test planning, execution, reporting, and defect management.
• Mentor and guide the QA team on best practices and advanced features of Tosca.
• Monitor test coverage and continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness.

4. Collaboration & Leadership:

• Act as a technical leader within the testing domain, providing guidance and direction to both the testing and development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify test requirements and manage expectations.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to improve automation code quality.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in test automation and software testing.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in test automation practices and tools.
• Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and reduce time-to market.

Mandatory Certifications:

• AS1: Automation Specialist Level 1
• AS2: Automation Specialist Level 2
• AE1: Automation Engineer Level 1
• TDS1: Test Design Specialist Level 1
• TDS2: Test Design Specialist Level 2
• TA1: Test Architect Level 1

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years focused on test automation.
• Proven expertise in Tosca test automation.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in API testing and service virtualization.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
