Job Summary

Incrivel Soft is seeking an experienced Oracle UIM SME/Architect with a strong background in telecom consulting . This role is pivotal in designing and implementing Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) solutions, leveraging your expertise in the OSS domain . Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with Oracle UIM, a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development:
  • Independently design and develop high-quality UIM-oriented solutions.
  • Lead Oracle UIM solution design for telecom clients, including related tools and technologies.
• Technical Implementation:
  • Convert business inventory requirements into detailed technical designs.
  • Develop UIM cartridges using Oracle Design Studio and implement logical/physical inventory models.
  • Create rulesets, extension points, and customizations within UIM cartridges.
  • Migrate data from external inventory systems into UIM via scripts and rulesets.
• Customization & Integration:
  • Extend existing UIM Tech Packs (e.g., GSM Mobile Tech Pack, Metro Ethernet Services) as per customer needs.
  • Develop web-service cartridges for automating UIM interface integration.
  • Work with UIM in federation/cooperation mode, standalone, or HA cluster installations.
• Collaboration:
  • Effectively collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project alignment and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields ( BE/BTech/MCA/MTech ).
• Experience:
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience, including 3-4 years in telecom consulting .
• Domain Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, POTS, IPTV , and OSS domain.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Expertise in JAVA, J2EE, SOAP, HTTP, TCP/IP , and related protocols.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies like XML, XSLT, XQUERY, Drools, Oracle RDBMS .
  • Experience with WebLogic Administration, PLSQL programming, JMS, SSL .
  • Knowledge of TMF/eTOM standards, SID Data Model, RSDOD .
• UIM Skills:
  • Experience with UIM Inventory Managers (e.g., Telephone Number Manager, Equipment Manager ).
  • Competence in modeling inventory in UIM cartridges and extending tech packs.
  • Proficiency in web-service development and high-level architectural design.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Clear articulation of ideas in written and oral formats.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with Conceptual Model, Reference Implementation, RSDOD/SR2B .
• Experience with CORBA, RMI, LDAP, TELNET, SNMP , and other networking protocols.
• Knowledge of WebLogic Bridging and SAF configurations is a plus.
