Job Description

  • Business Development Strategy : Develop and execute a business development strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on expanding market share and revenue growth.
  • Lead Generation Prospecting : Identify potential clients, generate leads through networking, outreach, and other strategies, and qualify prospects based on business potential.
  • Client Engagement : Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and effectively communicating the value of our products and services.
  • Market Research : Conduct market research to identify new industry trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to position our offerings effectively.
  • Sales Pipeline Management : Own and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation to deal closure, including follow-ups, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Collaboration Stakeholder Management : Work closely with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to align product offerings with client needs and market demand.
  • Negotiation Deal Closure : Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service, ensuring win-win outcomes that support long-term relationships.
  • Reporting Analysis : Track and report on key metrics, such as sales performance, pipeline health, and customer satisfaction, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Team Development Mentorship : Mentor junior business development associates, share best practices, and help build a strong, cohesive sales culture within the organization.
    Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the IT or software consulting industry.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and execute tactically to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Passion for technology and an understanding of software solutions and industry trends.
    Good to Have:
  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development processes.
  • Established network of contacts in the IT or software consulting space.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
