• Sales Support: Work in close partnership with the sales team to provide the necessary investment expertise and insights needed to assist in client acquisition and retention. Support the sales team by preparing investment proposals, product recommendations, and client presentations.
• Investment Advisory Support: Assist the sales team by offering expert investment advice tailored to client needs, ensuring all recommendations align with clients financial goals and risk profiles. Help design investment strategies for clients and prospects.
• Portfolio Management Assistance: Support the sales team in monitoring and managing client portfolios, making recommendations for adjustments based on market conditions or client needs. Help ensure that client portfolios are well-diversified and optimized for growth.
• Market Insights & Analysis: Stay informed on market developments and trends, providing the sales team with timely, relevant market analysis to aid in client discussions. Assist in identifying market opportunities and potential risks that may impact client portfolios.
• Training & Education: Assist in training and educating the sales team on new products, market developments, and investment strategies. Act as an internal resource for investment-related questions and guidance.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all investment recommendations and strategies are in compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies. Support the sales team in maintaining high standards of compliance in all client interactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Mandatory Certification: NISM X-A & NISM X-B, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial planning, with a focus on supporting sales teams or client-facing teams (not direct sales).
• Strong understanding of investment products and strategies, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and structured products.
• Knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, and the regulatory environment.
• Experience assisting with portfolio management and providing investment advice within the context of client needs and sales strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support the sales team in conveying investment strategies to clients.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and portfolio management tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in driving sales efforts.
