What We're Looking For :
As the Team Lead Cloud Engineering, you will oversee and guide a team of cloud engineers to strengthen the organization's cloud infrastructure and security practices.
This leadership role involves implementing and managing security controls across multi-cloud and hybrid environments while driving team performance, ensuring project deliverables, and fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and support to achieve project goals.
- Design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Configure and secure hybrid and on-premise firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Oversee the security of containerized environments using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Manage SOC operations, including incident response, threat detection, and mitigation using SIEM platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline operational workflows using Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security practices and compliance standards.
- Monitor and assess cloud environments for potential threats, ensuring swift resolution of incidents.
Required Skills :
- 7-12 years of experience in cloud engineering and security, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in implementing security controls for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency in configuring and securing firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation in hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with securing containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of SOC operations, including incident response, threat detection, and SIEM platforms.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and developing remediation strategies.
- Advanced scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell for automation.
- In-depth understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
Preferred Skills :
- Proven experience managing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams.
- Knowledge of advanced monitoring tools and techniques.
