Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team and strengthen our cloud infrastructure and security practices. This role focuses on implementing and managing security controls across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

- Implement and manage security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

- Configure and secure hybrid and on-premise firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.

- Secure containerized environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

- Lead SOC operations, including incident response, threat detection, and mitigation using SIEM platforms.

- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate mitigations.

- Automate tasks and improve operational efficiency using Bash or PowerShell scripting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security practices and compliance standards.

- Proactively monitor cloud environments for security threats and respond promptly to incidents.

Requirements :

- 5-10 years of experience in cloud engineering and security.

- Expertise in security controls for AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Proficiency in configuring and securing firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation in hybrid environments.

- Hands-on experience securing containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

- Strong knowledge of SOC operations, including incident response, threat detection, and SIEM platforms.

- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing remediations.

- Advanced scripting skills with Bash or PowerShell for automation.

- Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in multi-cloud environments with a focus on hybrid architectures.

- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 SOC 2 or GDPR in the context of GCP.

- Knowledge of advanced monitoring tools and techniques, including GCP-native solutions like Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
