Job Description


IMS Merchantile Ltd is looking for an experienced E-commerce, Quick Commerce & Modern Trade Manager to drive business growth across multiple sales channels. This role will focus on scaling online marketplace sales (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Tata Cliq, etc.), quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart), and modern trade retail chains (Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, etc.). The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing digital and offline retail sales, optimizing channel strategies, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

1. E-commerce Sales Management:

  • Manage and scale sales on marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Tata Cliq, Nykaa, and others.
  • Optimize product listings, pricing, promotions, and campaigns to improve visibility and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketplace account managers to strategize growth, promotional planning, and ad campaigns.
  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback, ensuring high service standards and brand reputation.
  • Analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to improve performance.

2. Quick Commerce Channel Management:

  • Build and expand partnerships with Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and similar quick commerce platforms.
  • Ensure product availability, stock replenishment, and fast-moving SKUs on quick commerce platforms.
  • Develop strategies for instant delivery models and optimize pricing/promotions to drive impulse purchases.
  • Monitor sell-through rates, delivery performance, and customer engagement on quick commerce apps.

3. Modern Trade (LFR) Sales & Expansion:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with large format retail (LFR) chains like Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, and regional chains.
  • Negotiate contracts, trade margins, and promotional campaigns to maximize brand presence.
  • Coordinate with merchandising teams for in-store displays, product visibility, and staff training.
  • Work with supply chain teams to manage stock flow and ensure availability in high-performing stores.

4. Revenue & Business Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets across e-commerce, quick commerce, and modern trade channels.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and untapped market segments.
  • Develop pricing, promotional, and discount strategies tailored to each channels unique needs.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, ROI on promotions, and category trends to optimize strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in E-commerce, Quick Commerce, or Modern Trade sales, preferably in consumer electronics or FMCG.
  • Strong relationships with online marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and LFR buyers.
  • Expertise in SEO, PPC, and marketplace advertising strategies.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics, demand forecasting, and pricing strategies.
