Job Description
The Role
- Visualize scripts/lyrics to create conceptual sketches and visual storyboards suited for 2D Animation
- End to end Character Animation, working with character rigs and refining their range of movements, expressions to bring the characters to life
- Interpret and work with voice overs and audio, understand emotional cues and find rhythm in the narrative to create appropriate visuals
- Composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished piece and ensure consistency in style and quality
- Editing and adding subtitles
- Must work cohesively with the creative team and complete content within timelines
Requirements
- At least 1 Year experience as a 2D Animator in a studio environment
- Must have a strong understanding of the 12 Animation Principles
- Experience with Storyboarding, Character Animation and Compositing is a must
- Must have hands on experience with animation tools within the Adobe Suite especially with Adobe After Effects character animation or must be willing to transition to this tool.
- Experience with hand drawn animation is a bonus
- Great eye for detail to ensure the timing, expressions and movements of characters required to do justice to every story
- Video editing skills
- Must be a team player and work within deadlines
