Senior Associate, Fund Raise and Dept Investment Specialist

About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Fund Raise and Debt/Equity Investment Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing debt financing opportunities for the company. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to raise capital from various sources, including donor organizations, government bodies, banks, private firms, and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Fund Raise (65%)

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives. Agree and align the strategy with the senior management before implementation.
• Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, Impact investors, and private investors with a sector focus on climate change and women-led enterprises.
• Developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.Organizing and attending fundraising events.
• Preparing and presenting fundraising proposals and reports. Prepare presentations and other materials for investors and lenders.
• Maintaining accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities.
• Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes in the debt financing market.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

B. Deal sourcing, pipeline development, and portfolio management (35%)

• Identify and pursue potential debt financing opportunities from a variety of sources across Southeast Asia
• Negotiate and structure financing deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company
• Manage the entire debt financing process, from initial outreach to closing
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven track record in fundraising or sales.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of debt financing instruments and markets.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Experience with financial modeling software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to debt financing.
• Experience working with international investors.
