The Director of Learning (Capital Market) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the fintech academic program at the Imarticus School of Finance, along with faculty relations and student academic services. The role would be expected to provide visionary leadership, strategic planning, and operational management to ensure the academic and industry-linked excellence and integrity of the institution. This role requires a strong commitment to promoting a culture of inclusivity, academic innovation, and excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Academic Leadership and Planning:
- Chair the capital market Steering Committee on matters related to curricula and the industry
- Oversee finance curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of academic programs
Faculty Development and Support:
- Recruit, hire, and retain highly qualified faculty members, domestically and internationally
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and administrative staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and support faculty in achieving tenure and promotions
Student Academic Services:
- Enhance student academic support services, including tutoring, and career services
- Address student concerns related to academic programs and policies
- Promote student success and retention through innovative programs and initiatives
Institutional Governance and Compliance:
- Participate in institutional governance, serving on committees and task forces
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of higher education trends and best practices
Community and External Relations:
- Represent the academic division to external stakeholders, including partners and alumni
- Foster relationships with other academic institutions and organizations
- Advocate for the institution's academic mission and goals in public forums
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience, including significant leadership roles in learning
- Experience with strategic planning and implementation in an academic setting
- Knowledge of current trends and challenges in the graduate education landscape
