Senior Manager - Treasury

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Cash Management:

• Cash Forecasting: Prepare and monitor short- and long-term cash flow forecasts for various

regions, ensuring efficient cash utilization.

• Optimizing Cash Allocation: Ensure optimal deployment of surplus cash in different markets,

ensuring a balanced liquidity position across countries.

2. Risk Management:

• Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management: Manage foreign currency exposures and

implement hedging strategies to mitigate FX risks across multiple regions.

• Interest Rate Risk Management: Analyze and mitigate interest rate risks arising from the

companys borrowings and investments globally.

3. Banking Relationships:

• Maintain Banking Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial

institutions globally to secure favorable terms and streamline global transactions.

• Manage Bank Accounts: Oversee the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts

across different countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

4. Treasury Systems and Reporting:

• Treasury Technology Implementation: Oversee the implementation and usage of treasury

management systems to streamline processes like cash management, FX management, and

reporting.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive treasury reports for senior

management, providing insights into global liquidity, cash positions, risks, and financial

strategies.

• Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal

control policies related to treasury activities in different regions.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to global treasury regulations, including tax laws

FEMA, MCA, SEBI AND financial reporting standards, and anti-money laundering policies.

6. Coordination with Regional Teams:

• Collaborate with Regional Treasury Managers: Coordinate with regional treasury managers

to align global treasury strategies with local market conditions.

• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with finance, tax, legal, and accounting teams

to ensure consistency in treasury operations and compliance with global standards.

Key Skills Required:

• Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, financial markets, cash

management, and risk management.

• Leadership: Good team management skills to handle a global treasury team.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills for working with senior executives, regional

teams, and external financial institutions.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and market trends to make

informed decisions.

• Global Knowledge: Understanding of international banking regulations, tax laws, and market

practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferably an MBA or CFA).

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in treasury management or related roles, with

a global scope and leadership responsibilities.
