QA Automation Test Lead (Selenium)

Role & responsibilities

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in leading automation teams or projects

Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (Page Object Model, Keyword driven, Data driven, TestNG, BDD)

Should have strong knowledge in Java programming

Design and developed automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver

Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.

Identify, prioritize, and report defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure test coverage and effectiveness.

Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).

Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Act as a subject matter expert on test automation, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Healthcare domain will be added advantage

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.

Proven track record of leading and managing automation projects from inception to delivery.

Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Deep understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium and should have experience in creating Automation Framework from Scratch

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.

Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
