Quality Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. To manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors in led lighting industry , working in IQC, processes of SMT assembly and reflow soldering, Mi ( manual insertion ) assembly and soldering , final assembly ageing- packing, OQC.
2. Monitor the daily work performance of the team
3. Participate and contribute in the CFT assignments
4. Plan , launch and monitor continuous upgradation in quality of supplied parts, process quality, outgoing quality, field performance quality.
5. Monitor , control , reduce the Non quality in processes, warranty promised.
6. Hold weekly monthly review of quality performance with action plan and time line .
7. Work for continual improvement by training , guiding, motivating the team to achieve higher performance nurture and foster in them a strong sense of belongingness to the organization and imbibe in them a spirit to identify and solve the issues rapidly.
8. Act as an interface from the factory to the RND engineering to pursue the ” New Product development Trials” within target time lines.
9. Ensure to maintain the records of performance, documents to comply with the requirement of QMS being practiced.

Preferred candidate profile

Desired more than 7 yrs experience in led lighting or in EMS industry , Electronics Engineering back ground.
