Ikarus 3D - Lead Software Engineer - MERN Stack (3-7 yrs)

As a Lead - Software Engineer, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of highly responsive web applications, ensuring seamless integration of 3D elements for an immersive user experience.

This role demands technical expertise, strong team management skills, and proficiency with DAMs (Digital Asset Management systems) and B2B SaaS products to drive innovation and operational excellence. Experience in client-facing roles and customer success is a valuable plus.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a cross-functional tech team to foster collaboration and ensure the timely delivery of projects.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of frontend and backend architectures, prioritizing seamless 3D element integration to enhance user engagement.

- Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, 3D specialists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

- Develop backend microservices and database integrations, with a focus on Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, B2B SaaS products, or ECommerce platforms.

- Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness for mobile, desktop, and tablet devices.

- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to maintain application efficiency and responsiveness.

- Foster security and data protection best practices throughout the development process.

- Support business growth by researching and applying AR/VR product knowledge to enhance offerings and improve client satisfaction.

- Define and communicate technical and design requirements effectively within and across teams.

- Cultivate reusable codes and libraries for future projects and ensure adherence to development standards.

- Experience with Three.js and React Three Fiber to create WebGL experiences and enhance 3D visualizations, ensuring optimal performance across platforms is a plus.

- Proven experience (3+ years) in full-stack development and team management.

- Experience with the MERN stack (preferred) or similar frameworks.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS(Preferred), GCP, or Azure.

- Understanding of DevOps principles.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an eye for detail.

- Proficient communication skills for internal team collaboration, with the ability to engage with clients as needed, are preferred

- Ability to work independently with resilience and adaptability in dynamic conditions.

- Experience with server-side languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net) is a plus

- Experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, and AR/VR technologies is highly desirable.
