Announcement For the post of Lead Engineer / Technical Lead - PC - R&D

• Primary role of Lead Engineer / Technical Lead will be to design and develop high efficiency AC/DC power supplies with single phase AC input and output power of >500W with excellent theoretical and analytical skills in designing and analyzing power and control circuits.
• Should be independently able to design magnetics components, power component selection, PCB design.
• Candidate should have a strong innovative mind set and be able to work as a team.

Preferred Experience

• Candidate should have strong working knowledge of Power electronics circuit design including magnetics, high density electronics packaging, thermal design, mechanical design, PCB design, design for EMC and compliance to global safety standards and design for manufacturing and sourcing.
• Experience in designing power electronics circuits using SiC and GaN devices will be plus.
• Experience in designing control and management circuits using DSP and FPGAs.
• Hands-on experience with design and simulation software like MathCAD, SIMPLIS, MATLAB, P-spice, Powersim etc.
• Understanding of system architecture design & cross-functional integration.
• Develop state diagram for control engineers.
• Should have experience in solving Electrical, Thermal and EMC issues in product will be plus.
• Should be able to perform tolerance analysis, worst-case circuit analysis.
• The ability to code control firmware will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience to complete product development life cycle (concept to EOL) will be plus.
• Experience in working with global design and manufacturing companies will be a plus.
• Product development experience in Agile will be a plus.

Essential Qualifications:

• Doctorate (fresher) or masters degree with 5+ years of industrial experience in R&D in Switched mode power conversion.
• Hand-on experience in developing high efficiency AC/DC, DC/DC or DC/AC power supplies with knowledge of magnetic component design, high frequency high power PCB layout, Firmware development, DFMEA and RCA methods.

• Consolidated pay ₹1,00,000 (minimum) per month all inclusive; actual designation and salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.
