Job Description
- Maintain Financial Records: Record and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Tally Operations: Use Tally for recording journal entries, sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and other financial operations.
- Excel Reporting: Prepare financial reports, data analysis, and summaries using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and ledgers regularly to ensure all financial data is correct.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the finance team in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and preparing forecasts.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure that all entries are posted accurately in the general ledger.
- Vendor Management: Manage payments to vendors and ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. A Master s degree will be an added advantage.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Tally ERP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
