IIT Hyderabad - Embedded Engineer - Battery Management System (2-4 yrs)

Job Location : Chennai

Product based company : EV Battery Maker

What you will do :

- Embedded coding for Battery Management System (BMS) and related products.

- Working with different microcontrollers (ARM based) and many different Analog Front End (AFE).

- Working with all common protocols like SPI, UART, CAN, I2C, RS485, RS232 etc.

- Co-ordinate with Hardware team for system architecture finalization, feature selection, component selection etc.

- Testing of products and bug fixing.

Requirements from you :

Mandatory Skills :

- Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit and system design.

- Strong software debugging skills on embedded system.

- Hands-on experience of product development with Microcontrollers and AFEs.

- Familiarity with ARM architecture, Emulators / JTAG-debuggers.

- Communication protocols for peripherals like I2C, SPI, CAN, UART etc.

- Strong knowledge of version control system like git.

Desired Skills :

- Experience of working with automotive use cases and safety protocols.

- Knowledge of Embedded Linux Kernel architecture, drivers, and operations.

- Linux device drivers (e.g NAND, SDIO, LCD, USB).

- Experience of working with task management tool (preferably free open-source tool).

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.

- 2+ years of experience of developing bare metal and OS based software for embedded target.
