Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the marketing and content teams to create engaging content for our social media platforms, and you will be responsible for managing and growing our online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with marketing goals.
Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
Manage and oversee social media content calendar and scheduling.
Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
Work with marketing and content teams to ensure brand consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all social media channels.
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
Oversee social media accounts design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, etc.).
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Analyze metrics and report on performance of social media campaigns.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Experience with doing audience research.
Good understanding of social media KPIs.
Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Excellent multitasking skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field is a plus.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Video editing skills.
Copywriting skills.
