Your role in the Team
The Data Platform team designs, builds and manages the core data capabilities at the group which spans across on prem and Cloud assets. We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager for Data Platforms who can help uplift our Cloud Data Platform capabilities on GCP.

What you ll do
Define communicate a Product Vision and Roadmap for Data on cloud engineering platforms.
Manage prioritize Product Backlog(s) and create Epics, Stories, Spikes, etc.
Engage collaborate with Technical and Business Stakeholders, Architecture and Engineering communities.
Establish ceremonies/meetings/workshops for progress.
Collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, Project and Programme management.
Drive Product Management culture and share knowledge with the Product team.
Shape and define metrics for product/service impact and progress.
Work with Delivery Managers/Engineering Leads to plan and prioritize work.
Define and communicate user/customer needs to align product vision.
Engage with vendors and 3rd parties to achieve Product Vision.

What you ll need for this role
10 - 15 years of proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services ( AWS).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in creating and managing product roadmaps and backlogs.
Strong understanding of data engineering principles and technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Science and Engineering.
Proven ability to drive product vision and strategy.
Experience in agile methodologies and practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
